“Open Highway" is full of high energy, catchy, retro rock songs inspired by an obsession with 60’s garage rock and 90’s lofi. It’s heavily influenced by Guided By Voices aesthetic, while lyrically tackling love, frustration, fear, and beauty. And while staying true to Victims of the New Math’s lo-fi recording roots, the sound really pops thanks to some great mastering from Todd Tobias (Guided By Voices producer & engineer)!
